Last night hubby and I went to the gym for a little workout. I walked a quarter mile, jogged a quarter mile and walked a half mile as a warm up, then did some weight training.
This morning I started the day off with a new breakfast smoothie recipe:
1 large banana and 2 large kiwis peeled; 5 ice cubes and the juice of 1 orange; Blend and drink.
It was super easy and tasted really good.
After my smoothie I met some local running phenoms for an outside run. The other ladies might not consider it a ‘hilly’ run, but the route was definitely not the 0 incline on the treadmill I have been running! It is also not the local flat 5k route. It was really good for me to see some hills! LaDona stayed with me at the back of the pack, so I hope I didn’t ruin her run (I did tell her she didn’t have to wait on me). Running around other ladies (ok, let’s be clear after the first quarter to half mile they were so far ahead of me it was really just me and LaDona) makes me so aware of my horrendously labored breathing. OMG it sounded like a bag-pipe lesson! Someday hopefully I will be in the front group and will not sound like I am going to cough up a lung J
